Default Car starts! New Problem :(

Finally figured out autozone was wrong and the starter was bad. I replaced the starter and after driving the car a few days the MIL came on and the car kinda sputters now. Checked the code and got a P0171 code. Thinking maybe I put something together wrong? Checked and it all looks good? Where should I start looking for the problem?

Thanks

I would check the starter to see if it's on properly.

I would think the starter is on properly, wouldnt it not start if it was not? IDK if the starter would have anything to do with a p0171 code.

You didn't list what year, model trim level in this thread; but, your other thread indicated a 2004 LX.

What state was you car purchased in? If it is a state like California, then the car is most likely an SULEV and you would have a MAF sensor. If that is the case, first check that the electrical connector for the MAF is on securely.

you are correct, its Calif and does have an MAF sensor. I was thinking of changing the air filter and removing the MAF, cleaning it and re-installing.
