Radiator
Hello!
My beloved 1994 Honda Civic SI has a radiator that appears to be leaking a little ... it's okay now that the weather is freezing (winter here is anywhere from +10 C to -30 and sometimes colder) for the next little while, but in the summer when it warms up, obviously it will need to be replaced.
I had my car in for maintenance today, and they told me an aftermarket radiator would be in between $500-600. After some research, I've seen that radiators normally aren't over $100, so I'm guessing the extra few hundred would be for labour?
I just wanted to make sure with you guys that buying a radiator somewhere online would be okay - that ~$75 seems about right. I'm thinking I'll have my brother put it in to save on labour costs.
Thanks all

You can replace those radiators yourself very easily. You just need a 10mm socket and wrench along with some pliers and a screwdriver to remove the hoses and lines. You can have it replaced and running within an hour, very easy to do.
Woo! Thanks Ross :D So the price for the radiator (as seen here http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199.../radiator.html) wouldn't be sketchy?

http://www.mishimoto.com/honda-civic...nce-92-00.html lifetime warranty and the top plastic tanks won't crank on you.
I have the full size X-line one in my integra and love it looks super clean and can run the car hard during my time attack events and not have to worry about it even getting close to the middle.

Lifetime warranty is what counts for 70 why not I guess, sorry on the one I linked it's a full aluminum so no plastic at all that's what I meant. yes it's a bit up there I guess overkill if this is a stock car.
