98 Civic lx, Started and died as soon as I put it in drive and now won't start
Hello HT, I'd like to ask you guys for some input. Earlier today when I went to drive my car it died on me right as I was getting out of the driveway. I started the car and let it warm up for about a minute, I reversed out of the driveway and as soon as I put it in drive the car instantly died. Then after that I couldn't get the car to start back up. A bit of history with this current engine, a while back the car was misfiring in cylinders 1 and 2 I traced it to bad exhaust valve seals and ended up replacing the head with a resurfaced head and with new seals in it already and replaced all the according gaskets as well. I'm now about 7,000 miles since I did all that but about 1,000 miles ago it started to misfire again. At this point I'm just getting frustrated...help please guys.
Edit: I will be taking a good look at the car in the AM and most likely starting with the cap and rotor and buying a timing gun to make sure all that is in order but I'd like some input on where to look guys.

Also take a very good look at your grounds. It's possible the jarring of going from reverse to drive wiggled one loose.
Is the CEL on? Does it work? IT should come on for 2-3 seconds when you first turn the key to ON(II), and then turn off.

Yeah the CEL has been on for the past 3 weeks for the misfiring cylinders. I'm gonna run the scanner on it tomorrow.
