Default DPFI-MPFI OBD0-OBD1

So I just got done wiring everything up and bolting the manifold on and I'm getting a code 16 and no start. I'm using a b7 distributor, intake manifold and injectors, o2 sensor, and ecu. I made the jumper harnesses for the distributor and ECU, double checked everything but I'm unsure on the injector wiring. I cut the dead plug off an obd1 civic (The one with all the yellow/black wires and the single yellow wire) and wired all the yellow/black wires to the plug and one of the yellow/black wires went to the ecu. Is that where I went wrong? I thought only one of them needed to be wired to the ecu and the rest were chained somehow (I have no idea).

Basically I just want confirmation that the yellow/black wires on the obd1 injectors are supposed to be wired to that plug instead of all just spliced together and ran to the ecu in a single yellow/black wire.

the yellow blacl wire comes from near the master cylinder wiring. depending on the year of your crx its either a five pin or a seven pin (I think)

I didnt use the block thing, I twisted/soldered the wires together with the yellow black as well... check your injector clips for voltage with key on....thatll tell you if youve done it right.

also all four of your injectors go to the ecu for ground...power is supplied by the single yellow black wire that comes from the driver side harness.

Ah my bad I forgot to mention it was a 91 civic sedan (not sure if that makes a difference.) But You're saying I didn't need to run a separate wire to the ecu because It was already in the engine bay?

And I do need to splice all the yellow/black wires together then? Because right now only one of the yellow/black from the injectors are going to the ecu, the rest go to that plug. I hope this makes any sense. lol

ok reading the diagram it looks like you should have a yellow red blue brown wire on each injector, just like the si which go to the ecu pins 1235.

just checked my hf and the yellow/black is on the driver side shock tower too.

It's an LX so it should be different I think. The HF is already mpfi right? I have all the colored wires wired correctly its the black/yellow I'm unsure of.

My bad the yellow/black wiring is on the drivers side plug, there's two black/yellow wires. So that means I shouldn't need to run a separate wire to the ecu right? There are two extra yellow black wires on that junction plug, where are those supposed to go?

your injector circuit should look like this
A1-injector 1
A3-injector 2
A5-injector 3
A7-injector 4

and splice the injector common wire into the wiring running to pin A13 or A15, doesn't matter which one.
