Ok I have a 99ex with and automatic y8 my buddy is selling me his swap it's an ek with a 5 spd y8 I am going to use my engine due to the miles on his. My question is besides the linkage and Ecu and trans what else will i need. I was told a company makes a trans mount that will make it a bolt up swap but I haven't found it and is there anything else I will need to know

You can't use/don't need a conversion mount on a '96 - '00 civic. Simply use the upper transmission mount and bracket as well as the lower torque mount bracket from any '96 - '00 5 speed civic.

You'll need a 5 speed Y8 intake manifold and throttlebody as well along with pedals, shift boot, and some rewiring.
