Default Want to know if I am paying right price

Alright I am having my motor built right now I had the head rebuilt with skunk2 valves, springs, retainers and new seals and retainers. They also put a bronze lining in the guides. I also had them install the Darton closed deck sleeves in my block (2.0 gsr) they also assembled the pistons and rods. They balanced the whole thing and micropolished the crank. I supplied all the parts except for the bronze linings for the valve guides. What do you think is a fair price?

... i would say that the labor for building the block should be about 1800-2200 (including the sleeves)... at least these are the prices that i have seen or been quoted... but i dont know about the head work... anyone else???... i'd like to see what everyone else has paid...

Travis, you know that they aren't going to rip you off. Jared hooks it up. It will all be worth it when you put it in (except when you race me! LOL)
