Icon2 Need help on 99 civic ex motor swap

so my stock 99 ex engine blew. sucks. So I'm looking at new engines to buy. I found a K20A i-VTEC DOHC 2.0L. will that fit into my 99 ex? and also do i need to do any other mods for the motor to fit?

Yes it fit, and it's a wonderful swap.

But you need a few things!!!

Harness
k to civic mounts
axles
K-pro ECU
Fuel lines

And maybe a few things more, is a top dollar swap.

lol there's ALOT more that goes into a k-swap sorry to break it to you they run about 6-7K all said and done. Rywire kswap harness run about 500$ the PRB ecu with the k-pro already installed 800$. stick to a b-series swap.

for a b swap you can use your ex harness just fine the ECU's 100$ give or take but a b16 will feel the same as your old d16 down low.

^^ What he said. Just a little more power at Vtec.

But given you want a k swap, maybe you have a few hundreds more and get a B18c1.

What's your budget? Is your car manual or auto?
