Need tire fitment help ASAP!
Hey guys, I am getting ready to order my 16s and had a few questions about the tires. Tirerack suggests going with a 205/45/16 tire. I was wondering if I could run a 215/40/16 tire to get alittle extra width out of them plus some curb protection. Will these fit on a 99 Si that is lowered about 1.75-2.0 inches and the camber set at 0 degrees front and back? Will there be any kind of rubbing issues? Problems with rubbing when the wheel is turned all the way?
They will definitely fit. You are going wider, but you are lowering the profile. Plus I have 215/40R16 with Neuspeed Race springs, and I have no rubbing problems what so ever. Remember: Wider is Better.
