not worth it. NO taper when using a CAI intake.

3" Slatertake is your answer.

I have an Iceman......but it was free......

I don't have a reference for the slatertake to compare with the stock/iceman. I know SCC did the intake test a few issues back, but there was no custom job in there.

I saw nice gains (for an intake) on a D16Z6. If I had to do it again, I'd go custom (just for the sake of tinkering on my own and saving $$).

can you get the aem to fit a LS in a civic, the one thing i liked bout the ice man is that they make one for the swap.

I used an Iceman, AEM and custom CAI on my Civic... which one worked best. Without a doubt.. neither! They all we're pretty much the same as far as power, but this was for MY car and MY cirumstances. I also run an Iceman on the GS-R and it does the job

I have seen an ICEMAN intake outperform both the icebox and an AEM on a dyno on three different cars, and 2whp across the board on my car over my Comptech.

FYI- I still use the Comptech because I feel the throttle response is better, and I feel it performs the best on the street.
