Default D15z1 Spark Plugs on a D15b7? (pics included)

I have a d15b7 where the plug wires are old aftermarket cheapos from the previous owner and I'm concerned that was what caused my ICM amd coil to fry. I have some Denso plugs with less 5k on them and the looyk brand new and fit the plugs snug. Only thing is the seal is smaller but as you can see from the pictures that it does seal the hole.

Will this hold as a temporary fix until next week? they are snug and fit and almost brand new so I think they will be better than these loose plug wires correct? I have to pick up my daughter in two hours so quick replies are appreciated.

Dude just buy the proper NGK ones. They are super cheap and you can get them anywhere and install them in a few mins.

First off, there is no picture. Second off, you went from talking about wires, to talking about plugs - which are you talking about, or are you talking about both?

Sorry had to download photobucket to share. I updated the post. I meant the plugs this is much harder on a phone lol. They are Denso plugs and wires, same as OEM like NGK. They look good to me. The cheapest wires in town are 40 bucks I just dont have that right now espescially for AutoZone plugs. Id have to order NGK or denso or spend double.

Now you're saying plugs, but posting pictures of the wires...still confused.

The wires are functional - don't worry about it. The spark plugs, I wouldn't mix and match. I don't have the FSM in front of me, but the Z1 is a VTEC-E motor, whereas the B7 is a non-VTEC motor. The Z1 might call for a slightly different plug.

You can run either, but you will get better fuel economy with the Z1-specific ones. And yeah, NGK or Denso plugs only. The B7 ones will get you by.

EDIT: Whoops, I had this backwards. Anyway, they Z1 ones will still work but don't run them in the B7 for long.
