Default bad sparkplug wires? after replace still same problem

Well back in my stupid youth i needed some spark plug wires so i found some OBX ones for relitivly cheap from a friend. once it started getting cold my car would putter like i was loosing one whole cylinder. I replaced the spark plugs with OEM ones and the problem went away for a half week, then started back up again.

I am wondering if maybe the spark plugs are bad because with all that fuel injecting and none burning it could of fouled one. Do you think i should replace the spark plugs?

I have new wires and a brand new dizzy, the spark plugs are about 6 months old

Go spend the WHOLE $10 on spark plugs and let us know what happens when you replace them.

i was thinking bout that, but it is 10 bucks (prolly more like 20 after taxes) I am just pissed that i buy new wires and it fixes it for like 4 days then it goes to hell again. anyone got any other sugestions, maybe dirty injectors or something?

obx is ****, 2 of those wires broke apart in the head to just pulled right apart when i removed them.

well i pulled out the spark plugs today and found this, they all look different but none look good especially the number 2 cylinder, it is covered in oil.

So what do you think about em. Do you think that the number 2 is what was causing my puttering and stumbeling problems?

are those OBX plugs?
just change your plugs and you'll find out whats up
i think its an ignitor, or rotor problem

yeh they are obx plugs, i got them for so cheap and i was in my dumb youth . Yes i know spark plugs from honda are only 4 bucks each but i was retarded.

If the ignitor was bad, my car wouldn't run properly, right? And i have all new ignition now, new plugs, wires, and a whole new dizzy.

And those plugs are only like 6 months old.

If one of your spark plugs was covered in oil one of the valve cover seals may be gone or going out might want to take off your valve cover and check to see because I don't see how bad plug wires would result in oil on your spark plug.

but i have replaced those also like 6 months ago. My car was stumbeling occasionally and i had cheap wires, so i replaced them and it stopped but then started again so i replaced the plugs.

Well that much oil means there is a leak I would say, that is not normal and may be part of the problem.

yeh because just today when i went to replace the plugs the new wire in my #2 cylinder had oil on it already. But i don't know what to do, i replaced the valve seals and that didn't stop it, maybe i just need to redo it. Ill try that next, they are cheap.

Anyone else?
