Default Need help on my brake

Hey guys so i bought a 92 hatch cx with gsr rear disc brake conversion. I changed the master cylinder off a 91 civic ex 15/16 from pepboys. Bled the whole brake now the pedal is hard to step on. I checked the brake booster and found out that its bad. my idle goes up to 2k rpm and found that its the boosters fault. So my question is what kind of brake booster should i get. I did my research (ill post the link later) that i should get the brake booster from 94-01 integra with no ABS. did my search and most integras came with ABS. Should i get the booster of integra or same model of my hatch. Thanks in advance!

If you want to use the new MC you just bought you'll need another stock replacement, otherwise I would have suggested a '94 - '97 Integra RS MC and brake booster.

From a 5th gen civic without abs, it's a huge pain to remove the BB tho be prepaired to want to punch something.

You'd still need the same booster.

You can't use an integra booster with the civic MC, or vice versa because the mounting ears on the MC are rotated 90° differently between them so you need the brake booster and MC to match. Guys who wanted a 15/16 MC but didn't want to swap out their brake booster used a '90 - 91 Civic EX sedan MC because it was 15/16 and bolted up perfectly to the lines and booster.

If you only did a rear disc swap and kept the wimpy CX/VX/DX/Si front brakes run a stock 13/16s MC or you'll end up with a hard pedal.

If you did upgrade the front brakes to Integra units use a 15/16s MC

If you happened to use EX front brakes for some reason use a 7/8s MC.
