frustrating CEL shenanigans
Today I changed out my ect sensor on my b16 because my code #6 has been on the cel for a while now. Got it replaced, reset ecu, and CEL 6 is still on along with 22(VTEC malfuntion) which was not on before changing the sensor.
Is there anything else that might need changed as well to get that code 6 to go away??

2nd possibly you snagged a wire have a look to see if everything is plugged in. where did you get the ECT from is it an OEM Honda one or part store.

There are diagnostic procedures you need to follow. Page 11-36 in the factory service manual - buy, borrow, or download one. It'll make your life much easier. I don't have mine handy at the moment.
