Icon2 b16a2 engine hesitating

Just went over the car today, and have found that the car seems to hesitate in revs around the 1700k mark, and after that comes to a clean rev...

the strange thing is that the car seem to jerk in any gear around this rev range...

does anyone have any idea as to why this might be happening?

would be so thank full to any one that has come up with a solution for this and wont mind sharing...

the car is a 93 del sol

Need more details, ECU model, is the harness stock? Is it only doing it only when cold, or all the time. Have you checks for codes?

Usually when you have hesitation that low like that it's a fueling issue. When is the last time you changed the fuel filter?

Thanks for the feedback...

As far as i am aware, everything is stock.. the ecu model would either be the JDM P2T or USDM P30? i have never replaced the fuel filter for this, but then i have only owned the car for 2 weeks...

Went to the workshop and they used a scan tool on it, and read that the IAC vavle failed... can this cause a hesitation?

Jerking: The workshop can only think of a few things. rear engine mount, leads or even a clutch that could be cause of the jerk.. ?
