B16A1 owners with A/C
All owners with AC & B16A1s in EF hatches?
Did you have to use a slim line fan?
I can not get the AC fan in without it sitting on top of the header.
I need to keep the AC but its starting to look like it might have to go
I have a Kamikaze header too
I have the Hasport billet kit with the AC kit
This question also applies to turbo EF owners also
Is there a slim line fan available that will clear all of the above mentioned

Most ef owners I know had to change their radiators because of hte fan issue!
You might want to buy a fluidyne
I wouldn't know because keeping ac for me cost too much so I just took the thing out

i had to use the jdm fan (which happen to be slimmer) cause of the jdm radiator. it still touches the header. but just touches. hasn't caused a problem yet *knock on wood*. but i would have gone with a slimline if it didnt work.

just go to the auto store and check out their line of universal fans. and find one that will clear the area you have. i think that will save you some $$$ as oppose to going with a fal/spal. check summit's online selection for an option. hth
Perhaps it's because of the headers. I have A/C in my rex with the same setup and my fans aren't touching the headers at all.. there INCHES from them. I have the stock headers although. I didn't get aftermarket headers because I'm lazy and didn't want to go to a muffler shop to have a second bung welded.
I also looked at SEVERAL dyno charts and saw that headers didn't make enough power to be worth the money/time/effort at this point in my power making career.
My only problem was getting the fans back in when I replaced my radiator. I had to remove the battery to lift up the a/c lines enough to get the fans in. What a PITA!
btw: I just saw "The Ring" tonight and I'm still very creeped out.
