Recently got a used and faulty jdm civic 3 week ago.

Searching for troubleshooting guide leads me to this site.

My first fault on the list and on going is due to the idle problem when in normal operating temp. Just service the AIC valve. To test by this weekend.

More to come, might need lots of help and guidance.

Serviced and tested

Result : idle 800-1500rpm no more. Plug the bottom hole in the throttle body and adjusted idle screw to ±750 rpm, based on the odo display. No more engine shut down. However, will idle 500-1000 rpm when plug is remove. Suspect the iacv is not holding it position properly??? How to confirm???

On the road test, feels much better... Although there is a slight thug when the engine is warm up...
