1990 Honda 2.7L V6 running issues
Vehicle: 1990 Acura Legend L 2.7L Honda V6 engine with standard transmission
Background: Bought from wholesale lot with over 200k on the odometer, sat for an unknown amount of time on lot
Completed repairs: Replaced water pump, timing belt, timing belt tension pulley, camshaft seals, oil sending unit, distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, PCV valve, fuel filter, air filter, fuel cap, PCV vacuum hose, coolant heater hoses, and the lower hose (4-5") that connects lower passenger side rear of engine to the coolant fitting above the oil filter.
So there's the background, now here's my issue.
When I start it after not starting for several hours or overnight, it usually starts and idles just fine and will continue to drive just fine for several hours of continuous driving.
When I restart it after I've been driving it, I have a 50/50 chance of it running perfectly fine, or missing and jumping and popping.
If it starts the craziness usually I just have to hold the throttle for a few minutes and let it go and it works fine after that.
Other times it continues popping and jumping and just won't quit.
These results are about 50/50 when it acts up after starting.
Also to note, when I've been driving it for at least 15 to 30 minutes and it's fully warmed up, it idles at a crazy 500 RPM or less.
Any ideas, tips, advice is helpful.
Thank you in advance.
