Timing Belt Fail
B18C vtec BC stage 3 cams Supertech H100DR springs + Supertech aluminum retainer. CP 81mm piston 12.5 comp
Belt only ran 60km, 3 days old, it fail when stopping at traffic light.
I put an OEM belt the next day. Same thing happened again. Belt fail after 30mins, when cruising 60km/h.
I’m thinking if the spring is too stiff. Anyone experience this before?

we use the same valvesprings in our b16 build with pro 1 cams
and our timing belt holds up fine since 15.000 miles reving up to 9600rpm.
what cam gears are you using, we had issues with AEM ones that were out of round,
so they weared down the belt pretty fast.
check the tensioner, waterpump, crank gear and cam gears i bet there is an issue with that.
send me a hi res picture from the back of the belt.
