92 Civic won't move when in gear
I have 92 honda civic just got it actually . Well after 2days of having it me and my wife ws driving and boom lower ball joint broke going down hwy got it fixed next day the mechanic said no other damage done besides lower ball joint . When it broke it made loud boom tire was crooked on drivers side. Well tonight me and my 1 yr old son were driving and drove it about 20 miles on the way home shifting just fine . I turn on this road downshift to 2nd and car acted like it was in neutral. So I stopped engaged clutch put it 1st and wouldn't move I put it in reverse and it grinded a lil but it went in to gear still wouldn't move . My clutch seems to be ok (I think). Does ne one know of ideas to try to figure this out . Thanks for your time to read this.

If this happens to you, the first test is to put it in gear and try to move, and watch the speedometer. If the speedometer goes up you almost certainly have an axle problem. If it does not, the clutch or the transmission could be bad.
