Default Cylinder Position Sensor Malfunction ??? Code 9

What exactly does "Cylinder Position Sensor Malfunction" mean? This message seems to like to pop up every now and then, and it really annoys me. Could someone pop this message into lamen terms please.

Cool Thanks man. It just seems to come on every month. I'm pretty slow when it comes to car mechanics... Where would the dist cap be so i can check if the wires are still on correctly?

the dist cap is the black circular plastic thing that all of your spark plug wires go into. simply unscrew the screws, and remove. the wires that you need to check are behind the rotor, you'll have to turn the engine over to make the screw for the rotor visible. once you have that off, you'll see the wires.

ahh well... Heh..heh.. That seems like alot of work that, I, personally should not be doing. I'll probably break something. I'll just hope that they are. I went and go a tune up about a month ago and they probably would've noticed if something was wrong, so i just won't touch that. Thanks to the both of you.
