Finally had the chance to go out and test my new setup, haven't been in the track since May of this year. Im really happy with my new PB and im looking forward to next year to see if we can break into the 10 second mark. Here is the setup:
86x89 Wiseco 14.1 pistons with eagle rods
P75 head P&P
Supertech full valvetrain
Crower 405 cams
Victor X IM with 70mm TB
Hytech rep header
Car weights 1760 with me in it and made @231whp 167tq
I don't have the slip since it was Monday and they don't give out papers but heres is a quick video.

I take it where you race is "light" on regulations...? I noticed the lack of a cage and the fuel cell open to the drive. lol. it seems like all our tracks are nhra tracks so the cars get inspected.

Very nice achievement though. if you don't mind me asking, what did that motor build run you? what transmission are you running?

First, OP, congrats. Very well done. But as far as light on regulations go, maybe the OP just lied? You can lie, say it won't run X time and then run the time and get the boot. They won't count it towards anything. I.E competition. At least that's what I've seen in my very small experience with the drag strip.

 

Thanks for the for the congrats, out track its NHRA sanctioned they do ask for a cage and yes i need to fix the fuel cell, but maybe next year i will change it for a 1 gallon and put it in front of the car. Track ask for a cage if you run less than 11.5, my previous pb was 11.6 so at the time i didnt need it now i do. As far as the motor goes it has a stock crank 89mm.

 

Got ya. Its been awhile since I delt with the regulations since for my et, it hasnt changed much. Definitely save some weight not having to have a cage in there.

3.8 v6 from the eclipse

 

Just saying, your right hand man is on instagram saying your **** is 92mm crank....you friends told my friends last week at the track in Puerto rico lol just saying the streets talk

 

here at PR the allmotor class sucks because we dont have weight regulations in any motor, so everyone there goes in gutted civics and mirages (they run low 11s with a 1.8 4g93 NON-Mivec sohc motor!!!) stuff like that (to me it is not fair) everyone here that run good times in allmotor are way below the weight minimum limits you guys have in USA.
the modded mirage with the 3.8 v6 is gutted and has 380whp + !!!!!
i have an h2b ex coupe but i dont go anymore to the track events because i know i dont stand a chance against those gutted cars they weight close to 1950lbs with driver!!! and my civic weights around 2350lbs with me in it

 

I really dont know street talk will always be there, im gonna take the oil pan and take some pictures, i dont have any reason to lie about the stroke.
