Default My 00 Honda Civic Hatch - EK Build

Hello everyone,
Let me give you a little history about this car, I recently bought it from a guy for 1k, it had a hit on the passenger side door to the point where the door couldn't open. But everything else worked fine on the car.

At the time I thought it was a good deal and I wanted the challenge, so I bought it and started doing the body repair at my house. Due to the weather things is moving a little bit slower than anticipated, however, I just built a tent outside and have an awesome heater that takes care of the extra cold weather.

I will update this thread with progress and pictures to match as time goes by...

After

Just an update, I ordered the back & front lips (after market) and the fog lights also. I also sent the car to maaco to get a proper paint job (fingers crossed)

Pictures coming soon...

I don't understand your question because of the "comma." But yes, I think it's pretty decent for the price I paid. It's not "oh wow" perfect, but its "ok."

Paint job looks good for under 300 bucks, I do believe I would have spent more time on that repair job, as you can still visibly see the damaged area. and had them spray the side moldings/door handles, etc while I was getting it painted. but coming along nicely.

Thank you... Yeah, the weather kind of threw me off, hopefully in the summer time I will have the time to get it where I reallly need it to be. I will also be getting the strips painted by them, along with the rear + front lips I bought.

Not horrible, but I would definitely take it to a proper shop next time. Get a quote from shops in your area, and see samples of their work. Maaco is hit or miss so I wouldn't go back because the job could be poor next time.
