It being that low along with the obv signs you're running rich(plugs are black) I vote either washed cyl walls or burnt/warped valves you can do a leakdown test if you like but that's way to low. had warped valves on my civic once paused something like 0,60,100,160 lol replaced valves 210-212 1-4 . in the case of washed walls well swap time...

too much gas into the cylinder will cause a "rich" condition which in turn will "wash the cylinder walls" effectively destroying your compression, only fix hone the cylinder or swap a new bottom end. That's probably not the case unless the engine had low compression to begin with so I think it's more then likely the valves.

leakdown test to confirm where it's leaking from. a garage will do one for like 40$ or free if they're cool. or if you have a compressor and the kit DIY. last thing i'll suggest is a wet test to see if it's the rings which would be due to it just being old. post wet test number if you can do it.

Did you do the test with all the plugs removed and at Wide Open Throttle?

im NOOB how would you do a wet test one and yes i have compression and the comp test kit and i know how to do the downleak test so ill do so if i hear/feel air coming from the TB then its the valve stem seals and if i hear/feel air form the oil pan then its the rings and if bubbles come out the raidiator then its HG rigth? lol

You have to do it with all plugs removed and wide open throttle for accurate reading...

Try it at WOT and post your numbers... a wet test is you squirt a little oil into each cylinder and test again at WOP and read compression. If it changes significantly it suggests your rings are bad. Try the reading at WOT dry (without the oil in the cylinders) first...

Wide Open Throttle and you may only gain 10psi from doing it it's recommended but not a game changer in this case. as the other poster said just a bit of oil into each cyl. Also unplug the injectors and unplug the distributor, good way to wash the walls even worse if you didn't in the first place and a good way to kill the coil.

You will need to pull all the plugs, connect the gauge, and while cranking push the gas pedal all the way to the floor...

if compression is consistant and normal readings with a cap full of oil down the hole its ur rings. if ur compression test nets the same numbers its time to pull the head as its a valve issue... no need for the leakdown
