1994 honda civic ex 2 door coupe wanting to install turbo
This is my 1st Honda and I was just about to by a turbo kit but I didn't stop to think if I needed anything else to go with it? i read something about if i got 8-9 psi i wouldnt need to change that much. Any information helps thank you, Im really just looking to put a couple more horsepower under the hood
From WHERE are you getting this "kit" ? I hope to god you don't say ebay. well you haven't told us WHAT this kit includes so that's hard to say. I can tell you you'll need to do welding wiring and more then lily cutting to get the IC piping to fit just right. I hope you plan on getting an s300 to have that tuned on when you're done. I'm assuming it's a d-series in there ?

Yes ! those kits are complete trash and never last if you even do get them to fit, I recommend buying all the components separately from a legit aftermarket parts shop. if cash isn't an issue swap a gsr in there then boost it good for 300whp on stock internals.

Honda engine* but in found in the Acura integra. You get it tuned on a dyno NOT a chip off the internet but if you must. phearable or exenocron or how ever you spell their name.

Op clearly has no idea what goes into turboing a Honda. Gonto the forced induction section and read all the FAQs, then read them again then start planning your turbo while asking questions there.
Expect to spend 4-6k for everything to do it right.
