Default 92 EG Collision Help plz!

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately some idiot locked up his brakes going 50 mph with no traffic and i slammed into the back of his car in my 92 hatch yesterday. I was curious if anyone knows what the support piece where the hood latch is located in is called? I am either going to try and find another piece if its removable but it looks like its spot welded. The same piece where the front bumper cover bolts onto with the 5 or 6 phillip heads and where the radiator is located. Goes along the whole front of the engine bay.

Im thinking of using a come-along to bring it back out or get a new piece. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

LOL i drive that rode everyday and there was zero traffic and he was sideways slamming on his brakes with no cars infront of him...i think he was drunk cuz he kept saying how he didnt want the police to come and it was his fault etc...pretty dumb. You should have called the police, and then had them test him, which means you would have had the insurance PAY YOU OUT if they found he was under the influence... f@ck these people, a$$holes like that get what they deserve as they put everyones life at risk...

How bad is it bent? Show some pics. Might be a waste of your time hammering on it, only to find out you will need to cut it out...
