Whats up guys, long story short I went for a quick drive in my 97 ek forged internals Turbo d16y7, blazey bla...I give it probably about 4500 and let off the throttle then smoke started coming out behind the gauge cluster very thick. I babyed it home ripped off the bezel and cluster only to see some of the wires on the 13 pin connector some what melted together and one wire was completely stripped and burnt off in the middle. Hmm.i am new to civics so any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

 

i cant tell you what may have caused that but carry a fire extinguisher with you from now on interior fires are no joke

 

Almost every circuit has a fuse and should have blown, unless the wrong fuse is installed.

there was a jumper wire from the 13 pin connector to the fuse in the 32 Slot of the fusebox I unplugged it and it quit smokingI bought the car like that and have no idea what it is for
