Default EG B16A good swap?

Thinking about swapping a B16a into my Eg sedan. I'm trying to figure if its worth doing the swap.. Can anyone give me some advice on it if you've done it.

It's hard to give an answer to these "worth it" type of questions because everyone will have a different answer.

enjoy your 105ftlbs of torque lol will still feel like a d-series down low, if anything get a b18 at least or a b20 then go B20V.

I just finished up putting a B16A2 in my 94 sedan. If you can get a good running drop out I'd go with it over a B20VTEC. It's basically a straight drop in and doesn't require a special tune to get it on the road.

It's tons peppier than my old D16Y8, even down low. The gear ratios in the SI trans helps a lot with that.

In the end it all depends what your goals are with the car and what YOU want to do with it.

You wouldn't need to go obd2.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Cause I don't feel like going through hassle of converting to OBD1.

Ya my B16 was obd2. I used my obd1 D15 harness. Then I soldered the right injector clips on and made a jumper harness to match the dizzys. You can just use an obd1 b-series dizzy if you prefer that. Get an obd1 b-series alternator. Then get Phearable to chip and flash a B20 map onto your d-series ecu.

That's all I did for my swap.
