D15B/d16 wiring harness probzz/P06 comp
I am sorry if this is not posted into the correct area, i don't post alot! I decided to fix my car and just get whatever is wrong with it. As the title sais it is a jdm d15b that my friend and i swapped. I was learning as he showed me how to do most of it, so some of the things i am still confused about. I am using my old d16z6 wiring harness i had before the swap, and am running a P06 computer. I have done alot of research and i believe i am running the totally wrong computer haha. I also have plugs in my bay such as my O2 sensor that just don''t plug into anywhere? I took pictures of my computer, and the plugs that are just chillin. I have a bad idle where when i start it up it idles at around 1500 then when its warm and running, im always at 1200 SOMETIMES 900 if im lucky haha. It changes alot and i haven't noticed things to tie the changes too. I also have pretty bad MPG because of that. I believe my computer might be the problem? Any help or advice would be nice, thankyou!

Are you positive you have the correct engine harness? That to me looks like a vx engine harness. Can you pay pics of the passenger side shock tower plugs
Honestly i have no idea what harness i have man, but she runs so I haven't put much thought into it! Obviously im new at this haha, but tomorrow i can upload those pics. It is dark and snowy out tonight!

You don't need a new harness but you'll need to convert your 5 wire 02 connector to 2 wire. You can ignore the egr connector. You'll need to remove the vtec pressure switch from your old motor and install it on the new motors vtec solenoid. As for ECU you'll want a P28 or P08.
If you need help converting the the o2 sensor plug to the correct one lmk either here, email (czapien82@gmail.com) or fb (link below) its fairly simple.
If I remember right p06 (stock) is non vtec, correct me if I'm wrong.

You mean convert the 7 wire air fuel ratio sensor to a heated 4 wire o2 connector. Also since it appears to be a vx harness vtec will already be wired in unless it was removed. I see the green plug normally used to vtec oil pressure switch
No I meant 5 wire although it can be called 7 as well. 2 of the wires go to a calibration resistor. Here's some instructions on how to wire it. Also he has a JDM D15B so it prob doesn't have the pressure switch so he'll need to either swap over pressure switches or if there isn't a bolt swap over the entire solenoid.
