Came across these while looking for some OEM top mounts, just thought id share email see what everyone's thoughts were.

Garbage!!! You say you want OEM but show pillow mounts. Get OEM or go the ought rockauto for some.

 

if you want some bling I believe AMR makes some tophats

AMR def has nice top hats. They are cheaper than OEM if I remember correctly.

 

I messaged amr like a week ago and no response? And the OEM style tophats aren't listed on their website?

 

I believe he has a thread in the marketplace on here. He is a small company so it can take time for him to get back to ya.

 

Okay yea im just anxious to install my koni yellows and gc's I'm tired of bouncing around on my Blox springs lol, I would love gc extended tophats but if I can maybe get all four OEM style ones from amr for your the price of one pair of gc extended hatsI'd rather do that. Trying to keep the price down as much as I can.

Same thing as GC Top hats, less than 1/2 price.

 

I've seen those just didn't read of anyone having any experience with em. I did read one person who said the koni struts didn't fit inside the bushings as the strut shafts were too thick. Does anyone have any experience with these?

 

You have to press out the center bushing sleeve and press in the one supplied with your Koni shocks. You will have to do that to any top hat. All it takes is a socket and 5 minutes, they are just held in by the rubber. Some of them can be removed by hand.

And those top hats have nothing that could be wrong with them. It's a piece of machined aluminum with 2 studs sticking out the top. The aluminum is the same basic **** the GC top hats are made of, and if you think the studs are crap then get some better ones. Either way, they are 1/2 the price, and come in any color you want.

 

Well when u put it like that it doesn't seem bad definitely interested in those now, any bushings that might be good replacements for the ones in there just in case they go out?

 

The ones in there seem like poly. Not sure if OEM ones would fit or not...
