Just wanted to share some dyno pulls of this GTX3582R powered S2K

 

Stock exhaust? You must have some kind if exhaust cut out I'm guessing. How's the spool on the gtx3582r? I have a gtx3576r s2000 and I wonder what the spool difference would be. Why did you guys stop at 550whp since you were on race gas and the turbo/stock more can take a lot more power. Stock diff/transmission?

Yes the exhaust has a Quick Time Performance electric cutout. We stopped at 550 because we didn't want to max out the current fuel system. The car still has stock diff/trans for now. We went with the 3582 to push more power in the future and to make sure not to run out of boost before redline.

The difference is significant, regardless of the fact that they share the same exhaust wheel size. On a test RB25DET that was built for a vintage racing 240Z body, we found that even with 9.5:1 2.5 inline 6 displacement, that the same 550whp was reached (due to the same exhaust wheel), but that responsiveness was over 1000-1500rpms better with the 3576 than the 3582, with about a 2-5psi boost pressure level increase. The 3576 reached better efficiency faster for the smaller displacement, but made a bit less top end power than the 3582.

IMHO, you got the better end of the deal Riceball777... Keep what you got.

 

I'm assuming stock motor with head studs?
