So i took the S2000 to the Dyno this past weekend :)
So we took the car to the dyno the other night to see what kinda power the car is making. Here are some specs on the car.
Stock motor
Stock tranny
Stock rearend
ARP headstuds
Stock headgasket
Kings performance Turbo kit
Fullblown motorsports fuel system
T1 ID2000 injectors
AEM
Precision 6265 Billet ball bearing Vband exhaust housing to manifold.
E85 Gas
Tuned by Adam Blevins
I would like to thank Tony Palo @ T1 race development, Fernando Reyes @ Kings performance, LJ @ Full Blown Motorsports, and all the friends that helped out, Chad tyler (spoolin on s2ki) and Mike, etc. And Adam Blevins for doing a hell of a job tuning.
First pull had some ignition cut out and was on 24psi
Second pull was on 25psi and 1 more degree of timing added.
So final outcome for tonight 680WHP @ 25psi.
We stopped it only because we ran out of dyno time, theres still a lot more in it

that has to do more with the dyno operator than the car itself. You don't know when he mashed the gas or mashed it rolling around that same 3000rpm. Plus the fact that when he races the car will never see that rpm range.

Very impressive indeed... These S2k's are really cranking out great power especially at higher revs. With the 6-spd gearing, it barely spends time below 3000RPM unless you are inching through a traffic jam, or cruising in 6th gear at 40 mph...lol

Why does your horsepower curve just keep climbing? Most of the ones I have seen flatten out when the turbo reaches peak boost.
Nice numbers though!

His Hp keeps climbing because the torque is slightly climbing which is likely due to timing being added as the rpm goes up vs alot of people keep timing the same value after peak torque But the engine is also very effecient and so is the turbo

The geometry of the engine, and the headflow paired with a descent turbocharger will make it produce more torque than enginepowerloss(friction) in high rpm.
the curve is Normal for a Honda VTEC engine with a paired Turbocharger, but the power is NIIICE for a stock internal motor!!
