Default Gears won't engauge.

USDM gsr non lsd tranny.

start the car push clutch in select 1st...take foot of the clutch nothing go into 2nd without pushing the clutch in nothing just hear the gear being select no other noise. Now turn the car off select reverse turn the car on all I hear is a whining noise goes away when I pull the car out of reverse. when in the forward gears I can row threw them all without pushing the clutch in and no noise/nothing happens(grinding whining stall) but when I try to put in reverse I get a nasty grind. any suggestions welcome ! I've been building this car from basically a bare shell since it was crashed.

here's what's missing:

clutch system needs a bit more bleeding
pedal may need new adjusting after new CMC install
driver side driveshaft is missing lol(see other thread)

Here's what I've checked:

bitch pin/linkages secure
proper TQ sequence/spec for the flywheel/PP
legit CC stage 1 full clutch kit w/cc flywheel
oem Honda CMC/Slave
passenger side axel is seated

but why won't it literally go into gear I mean when it's off I can push it into reverse and then turn the car on and it won't stall or nothing my only thought behind that is the non lsd is just turning the half shaft.

it's seriously a pain and i'm lost as to why it's gone wrong. will continue bleed just need a hose I was just doing it without and rushing back and fourth lol.

Did you have any issues with the trans itself before you did the rebuild/upgrades? I believe reverse is a non-synchronized gear (could be wrong). I would re-bleed the system and when you go to reverse try to put the car in 4th first then into reverse. Do you have any sort of trans noise when the car is in neutral and running?

Are you sure it is "not going into gear" look into the transmission on the side without the driveshaft, is the diff. doing it's job and sending power to the least resistance? 94

Exactly what happen to my buddy EP3. All it was, was an axle. What you said earlier can be true. Did you check your passenger side axle? I believe that's the one being driven.
