So i'm putting back together my b18c1 I'm putting a new head gasket in it got all the cam caps and bolts on it torque all of them but 1 of the 6mm bolts snpped off I had the torque wrench set at 7.2 fp's it never clicked like it did on the other ones so i get 1 from a spare head got the broken 1 out started to torque it down again in the same thing was happening it seems like its going to break again i've turned it 2 more turns than the other ones still no click

ah i wouldnt worry too much about it its just the little bolt.i think those bolts are more for keeping oil from leaking out but if you used rtv/hondabond i dont think it would be horrible leaks. if you really are feelin like fixing it, i would unbolt the caps and take the cams back out. either chase the threads with a specific chase not a tap. if that doesnt help then i recommend a helicoil or other thread repair kit. this kind of stuff happens pretty often on old aluminum parts im sure you will use the helicoil again if you buy it

More than likely, the culprit to snapping bolts off at such a low tq number is.....a cheap torque wrench. Typically they are out of spec on just faulty in general.
