Sorry if this doesn't belong here but rest in peace Paul Walker aka Bryan o'conner. You were an inspiration to most of the people on this website back when we were just punk kids in high school. I know that first movie is what pushed me to build my first turbo car. May you rest in peace in heaven with God and the car enthusiasts a like.

Yea this is sad, I remember when they started filming for FF7 here locally to me (and filmed FF5 that my cousin and friends are in)
He wasn't just an actor in a car movie, he was a car lover/enthusiast who got to make movies with cars. Sad how quickly things can change in an instant.
Paul Walker will be missed, while the first few FF movies were a little corny, the franchise developed into something enthralling and the cars became more "realistic" and down to earth (The skyline in FF5 made me moan lol) and he truly grasped the role more and more with each movie installment, the story lines weren't half bad either.
I do know they were in the middle of doing principal filming for FF7 so I'm not sure what that means for the movie but I know everyone that has had a role in the Fast & Furious Franchise will miss him very much. He brought something unique to those movies

The people still thinking this is the hoax from earlier on friday are being insensitive ********
Show some damn respect...
I bet those F&F movies had a lot to do with a lot of people getting into the car scene, regardless of what brand of car they choose build... and Paul Walker and the rest of the cast had a lot to do with it because like I said, These were all all car guys that got to make movies centered primarily around cars
Show some class please?
I can't imagine what this Christmas will be like for his Daughter and their family. I lost a cousin tragically a few months before christmas last year and it was very very hard without him there, nothing feels the same anymore.
I hope his family and friends all come together to support one another through this hard time.

Paul impacted several generations of car enthusiast through the FF movies.
It was reported that the driver who killed Paul was a good friend & fellow car enthusiast who shared a race team together with Paul.
It's sad & uncalled that it was on public road. Both knew better. They have access to the best race tracks.
I would feel just a tad bit better if the accident was in a race & paul was driving. Sounds silly, but just saying.

Met Paul Walker a few years back with my buddy Cole Hauser. Met Cole in NTC in Cali when training and showed Cole how to use a 240B. Anyways, Weekend in HI with them was crazy and Paul was the coolest guy I have ever met. I hope you sleep in peace bud!

Just watched a video of an interview of Paul's
Friends. They talked about trying to out out the flames and trying risking their own lives to get him out of the car but they couldn't. That brought years to my eyes. I would have. Done the same thing and it would so devastating to have to watch your friend burn to death. God be with them

I couldn't even imagine the panic around the crash and his friends still had the state of mid and courage to try and pull him out. I would of done the same exact thing even if it meant searing the flesh off of my arms.
To be there as a friend and seeing him and roger being swallowed up by flames probably would have made me have a nervous breakdown. I know their deaths were not instant nor were they quick and painless/peaceful. I simply can't fathom what Paul and Roger felt and thought during their last moments of life on this earth. You know they had to be screaming for help.
The thought of all of that gives me chills down my spine and makes me feel saddened yet at the same time I'm amazed by his friends that risked their lives trying to save them.
I hope something good can come out of this tragedy. I know Paul's charities will continue to function and I believe (I think I read this somewhere today) that a portion of donations to his charity will go to helping both his and Rogers families through these hard times
I hope his daughter can stay strong and bring the families together to help everyone grieve.
I'll never forget how he influenced my actions in the car world, rest in peace Mr. Walker and may you look over your loved ones and keep them safe
