Hi, my 92 Honda Del Sol rear fog light is not working. With the switch On and lights on.
I checked my fuses and they were all fine, just replaced a 30 fuse that wasn't blown but a little burned.
My right presence light (led) sometimes is not working, i have applied WD40 on the connector, was very dirty, and its better now. The connector for that light, looked like a bit melted, looked strange.
All this happened in a very foggy raining day, i was going on a mountain road and had to switch on the lights, fog light, wipers and ventilation to the windscreen.
I don't know at that point if the presence light and rear fog light was already not working, and it looked like that all was fine.
I reach the mountain bar i was going and parked the car outside. Switch every thing Off.
The car was parked maybe for 3 hours, constantly with heavy rain and some wind.
When i was going to leave, i entered the car, cranked out the engine, no problem at all, switch the lights on ( i noticed the fog button was already switched on, forgot to turned of when i arrived), switch the wipers and ventilation to the windscreen. A bit further, i switch the max light to be able to see something in between darkness, heavy rain and fog.
Some half a mile later, smelled like burned circuit. I had Lights, rear fog light, wipers, max lights and inside fan blowing to the windscreen at the max setting, all of this was on.
I notice i have a gap between the hood, right indicator and light, that could be possible to enter some water. The rubber seal don't fill the gap completely, maybe water have entered at that place, and reached the small connector of the minimum - light (led) and maybe make a short-circuit of some sort.
Please help..
