hello,

today i was driving my car and it completely loss power and shut off. headloghts still work but nothing interior works. as soon as i put in a new 50a fuse in and turned key just on to accessory it blew instantly. wouldn't even let fuel pump prime. what could be my problem? any help?

1992 honda civic dx
gsr motor/itr tranny
battery relocated to passenger side fender/bumper area
no shown wires
all grounds look good

 

Check the Yel/Red wire for the radio and cig lighter.

 

I put a wire in place of the 50a fuse just to check for a second since i will not have any actual fuses until tomorrow and radio does turn on. its when i turn it on(2) when the fuel pump turns on itll spark and blow the fuse

Replaced fuse box and still blowing fuse

 

your problem is probably going to be something grounded. remove all the fuses and relays that fuse feeds. if it still pops you short is going to be something after that 50a fuse but before the smaller fuses and relays. if you still need help message me on my fb. link below

 

Thank you. I actually unplugged under-dash fuse box and car started then I unplugged and replugged It back in and somehow it didn't blow. Really strange but thank you.
