I got it all done. I thnk... I've been lookin up all this stuff on these threads actually.. to day I started it and when I give it gas it dies out.. its idling at 2400-3000. Its a B16a from a 90 Integra. I got the mounts, a 99 gsr trans, OBD2 dizzy, p28 and down harness, changed the IACV plug to 2 pin, did the IAT, eliminated the crank sensor.. Idk wats goin on...

 

Vacuum leak. Timing. CEL's. Your car isn't an EK. "da" isn't a word. Fix those five things, and we might be able to help you.

 

No vacuum leaks, timing is good (checked it with a timing gun), and I dnt knw how to check codes.. I can't drive the car to take it to a shop either..

 

No vacuum leaks my ***. Spray around with brake cleaner and listen for when the idle changes. Click the FAQ's sticky. There's an entire section of it dedicated to pulling codes. You also haven't specified if your P28 is chipped or tuned at all. If it isn't, your car WON'T run right.

 

I keep gettin a Code 19.. (automatic transmission lockup control valve) my car is standard and the ECU is out of a standard car too.. I got a code 10, 14, and 41 but, I was able to clean the IACV, swap the wires on the IAT sensor, and clean the O2 sensor.. that took care of those 3 but I continue to get the code 19.. can someone explain this to me.. oh, and I don't have any vacuum leaks.. I did use the break cleaner on the intake manifold.. and it still dies when I give it gas..

 

If you're throwing a code 19, then your ECU was out of an automatic car. There's no arguing that - manual ECUs don't throw automatic codes. You conveniently skipped over my primary question regarding whether or not your ECU was chipped for your engine. If it wasn't, stop now, and either buy the correct ECU for the motor, or send yours off to Xenocron and get it socketted and chipped.

 

Ok... Yea its not chipped or tuned.. can this ECU be chipped to run a standard car or do I have to get another ECU?

 

Yes, it can. Like I said, call Xenocron, tell them what you have and what you need, and they'll get you squared away.
