I think these were used on the 5 ton military trucks.

unless you've got a massive turbo diesel laying around or a super serious huge v8 drag car, it won't work lol

Now that I can see the pics better, it looks like a turbo off of an older Detroit 60 series diesel, before the went VGT with everything.

It has a T04B compressor wheel, which means it will love very high boost (50-60psi) and have a very narrow compressor map as far as it's flow range between surge and choke.

Pop the housings off to measure and make sure the data I found is actually accurate, it was off a random website.
Mostly I was hoping to find out that it was bigger so you could send it to me for the primary on my truck, lol

sooo, basically give it away. It will cost over $400 in parts alone to try and get that rebuilt. Detroit diesel allison parts are not an easy bunch to find. I've seen this series also on Municipal county buses as well.

It appears to be in good shape, there is ZERO shaft play and it spins freely, ball-bearing turbo?

Nope. It's not a ball-bearing cartridge. Best to sell it as is and let the chips fall where they may

True story. They were used on big military rigs. Both 12 and 16cyl applications.

That's a 1.32A/R T6 housing. Massive to say the least. I bet it weighs in at 35lbs. lol
