5 years parked
Hi all. So, I have a 1989 prelude 2.0si 4ws 3rd gen? DOHC... LiL red is about 25 and has been parked for about 5 years. Before I parked it I did the driver side half shaft. While parked for the shaft the radiator cracked, changed that. Fuel pump froze while waiting for me. Changed the brake master cylinder. It stops, it goes, sometimes it runs a little ruff. I think I need shocks and am going to do the right side half shaft as soon as it gets here. The clutch master may have a tiny leak so...
Any advice on the next think to service for a parked car? Any help on working out the timing, idle... Any checks I need to do?
I'm no mechanic, I just follow the directions on the box.
What should I be workin' on guys?
Thanks

My best advise, if you can avoid it, sell your car or have someone else drive it for a while. 5 years of sitting can seriously damage a car.
Replace the tires, brakes, clean the engine bay of rat nests, etc. Inspect the wiring replace all the filters and fluids (inspect/replace rubber parts) would be a good place to start if you plan on keeping it.
