Broken plastic piece under hood? Sensor?
Need some help identifying what this broken piece is. I recently had my cylinder head taken off and rebuilt by a local shop.
I was underneath the car today for something else and I noticed this broken piece of plastic, obviously with a brass insert for a bolt going through it. See attachment.
This was on the undercarriage splash shield on the passenger side. It looks familiar, I looked all around and can't seem to find where it could of came from.
Anyone have ideas?

Looks like the plastic bolt down connector on the CYP(Assuming it is an OBD2 96-98 accord) But, that piece is located under the timing belt cover, so not sure how it would have worked its way out. I had one break on my 97 EX, the balance belt had snalled and broke the plastic sensor bolt mount. When I took off the timing belt cover, the plastic piece fell out.

Well, the 2.3 has this sensor also, I thought it was called teh CYP, but i think it is actually the TDC(CKP?). Haha, anyway, whatever it is called, its under your timing belt cover, behind the crankpulley
I'm going to have to ask them what happened
That would be too easy, but that's not my luck as my has isn't equipped with ABS. Yes it was considered optional equipment
Well, I recently had a balance belt break, which tore the sensor up. I had a no start condition. Long story short, I replacd a bunch of parts, including that sensor to get it running. Dont know though, how it would get from inside the timing belt cover to the concrete. When i pulled my cover off, it fell out. Unless where you found it was where the work was done, and it had been sitting ever since. But it does also look like an abs sensor.
