Default Rpm tach not working and not cracking vtec

What's up people, I have a dilemma and I'm hoping someone can help me out here because I can't figure it out, ok so here it is, about a year ago I purchased another teggy to add to my collection and it had a Jdm b16 in it, everything was working fine, rpm tach on cluster worked and it cracked vtec, well recently I put a full Jdm type r in it, My rpm tach no longer works and I'm not cracking vtec, I did the swap right, complete gsr harness, I went through 3 brand new dizzy's and about 4 or 5 vtec solenoids, but as I was doing the swap I noticed the car was auto before I purchased it and the auto shift unit is still under the console in the neutral position, and also on the b16 there were two wires coming from the step down harness into the engine bay, I do remember one wire went to the solenoid but I figured that was because it wasn't a vtec harness.. Does anyone have any idea what I have to do to get these things working? It's quite upsetting that I haven't been able to crack vtec on my new swap yet.. And oh yea I also changed the cluster about 5 times..so I have 5 clusters that are most likely good, and 3 of them are type r clusters... Please help..

Sounds like there is no connection from the ICM, [tach output blue] to the ECU/ECM and tach. 94
