Cooling System Rebuild(?)
Hello all.
I have a 1998 Civic Sedan DX that over heats pretty badly. So I had this bright idea to redo the cooling system. Fan, thermostat, water pump, and fan switch. This car is in pretty rough shape. I do have further plans for this car.
I know that the water pump will take some serious work to replace but every thing else I can do.
I already have a Skunk 2 Alpha radiator, but I won't put in until everything else is fixed/replaced so that overheating won't damage it.
Any recommendations for parts or suggestions where I should start?

Blown head gasket?
I'll look into that. I wouldn't have thought that the head gasket could cause over heating.
Thanks for the advice. I'll post an update on if it's blown or not.
EDIT: For a blown Head Gasket, wouldn't there be water in my oil or some kind of smoke/steam coming from the head by chance? Maybe even oil in my coolant?
