i assume you mean adjustable cam gears, correct? as with any other applications, youll only benifit from having them when dyno tuned.

Go find that person that told you that and kick them.
Why would being supercharged have ANYTHING to do with your valve timing being adjusted. YES they can be used together.

thats good to hear. I've heard stock cams work best for the jrsc however. I was planning on upgrading the head with titanium retainers, springs, and valves, and doing a port and polish. If i were to get the cam gears tuned with all that how much extra horses would i get from it.

valves, springs and retainers will not show any big hp gain, they are used to make you valvetrain stronger so you dont drop or bend a valve and you can rev higher more safely.

Granted that Jackson racing tells you that the stock cams are best, but thats not 100% true. Try the B16A2 intake cam and the ITR exhaust cam, with adjustable cam gears to dial out the overlap and see if you dont have a increase in power.
If you want to know about the set up there a shop in Utah, Speedworks that has experience and dyno's with the ITR/B16A cam set up.

Also,

Find the person that said it wasnt gonna work and kick them in the junk.

er, i just realized you have a Lude not a b16 motor. Disreguard what i said about cams. lol But... the thing about the cam gears is correct. As far as P&P call someone that does P&P work they should have some kinda of dyno's.

edit- i cant spell
