1337 CEL
Issue: CEL with P1337 code (CKF sensor) won't pass inspection
I looked under the car to find that a squirrel has chewed on ONE of the wires (I believe it is a two wire sensor)
What is the gauge of the wire used in the sensor (It looks really thin compared to the 18 gauge I was going to use)?
What is the best way to connect them and keep them out of the elements?
I can't quite get my hand on the upper connection of the sensor - How it it connected pressure or is there a little lever that needs to be pressed up or down?
Thanks

This part has a tab to press to pull it off the bracket. Then it will disconnect from the female connector. It may be stiff as dirt may have worked into it. Should be around 18 gauge. As long as you have the splash shield installed there shouldn't be anything you have to do. I'd definitely solder and tape up the connection though.
