Default arghhh sumone help throwing CEL!

well last night my brother installed an A/F gauge for his 94 LS and the moron didnt bother to read the instructions which said to not tap the green wire directly to the o2 sensor which he did...after seeing that he tapped into the wrong wire he then tried to tap it to the green wire and now its throwing a code...he pulled the wire out after he saw the CEL and we dont know what to do now...

DOES HE:
A) buy a new o2 sensor or
B) take the T taps off the wires and try to solder them back together?

sorry if this is all gibbirish i just got to skewl =P

i say B.

see if the cel goes off and if it does then it's something with the gauge.
