Icon2 How to get more horsepower ?

I have a 2000 civic si, 160hp stock and 111ft-lbs I believe. I have a cold air intake, header and a full exhaust. What else could I do to get more horsepower besides a turbo? How much horsepower do they add anyway?

B16 cams suck ***. Tried selling them for 40 bucks with the gears, seals, keys, and the bolt and no buyers lol..get ctr/itr cams and bump your compression to like 11.5 with tune. Should see a nice increase of hp.

cheap trick is to always remove the power steering and ac. less moving parts for the crank to turn also cuts weight down. lil differences but its free lol

Try tuning it first. Even though you just have bolt-ons it should still be tuned to get the most from the motor. In the end, you will need to get it tuned anyway so just start now.

That Antonio banderas gif is too funny lol. I myself have a bone stock B16a2 in an em1 as well and the best advice I can give you if you are going to stay B series is maybe some more headwork. As far as the block? It's a waste of time. Only so much torque you can squeeze out of a 1.6 liter block before saying wait? I have no money and my car is still slow as molasses

talk to a performance honda shop like RedMist Automotive or King Motorsports

they will sell you things that will give you more power. but you gotta talk with them about how much money you want to spend and how much power you actualy want. full motor build? or just toss some cams in there and tune?

The B16 is painful no matter what way you slice it. On the rollers with cams they put down like 140-150WHP, still with no torque. All motor is a complete waste of time. IB4 butt hurt owners but the truth of the matter is that it sucks. In needs nitrous or a turbo, or both.
