H22a Ek coupe Shifting Problems

Here it is i have a h22a in my 96 coupe and im having a hard time going From first to second at about 6,000 Rpms and up not sure what it could be. Any help will be much appreciated.

Is it grinding or is the shifter hard to get into gear. Either your cables are binding (would be happening at any rpm though) or your syncro is shot for 2nd gear.

What transmission are you running?

Check the basics:
Trans Fluid level
Slave Master Cylinder fluid
Inspect linkage and bushing

Definently check the fluid level. The check plug is on the side of the tranny, take your passenger tire off of course. If its full. New tranny time..Ohhh how I love taking these out :D
