Default b18b rebuilding want a nice all motor setup

Going all motor b series... Need to rebuild motor cause of rings and might as well build something wild with street manners...

Dunno what to expect here or parts to buy, but I wanna keep it on pump gas.

P30 (if staying non-vtec) or ITR (if going vtec) pistons
OEM rings
OEM bearings
OEM oil & water pumps

Your next step is to determine if you want to stay non-vtec, or to buy a B16 or GSR head and convert to vtec.

This is a honest answer that alotta peeps here on the forum will tell you.

Its gonna take alot of money and work to even break 180 whp with a ls block, head combo.

Your best bet for bang for buck is to turbo the ls motor.
Ive had both and nevervwill i try and go na ls again.

or swap a VTEC Head onto what you have. Your choices will exponentially expand

No matter na or forced induction. Tuning should be at the top of your list of things to do

this thread hurts my brain. what i think you are saying is that you want a stock motor with bolt ons so you can use a stock ecu.

the earlier post about not breaking 180whp without a ton of work on an ls is the truth.

no matter if you go vtec or not (which i would recommend) if you want any kind of internal parts you are likely going to need it tuned. id start with that
