I just installed my KYB GR2s and H&R race springs for an eg. The install was a pain in the *** to say the least. First of all i started the swap with a bunch of ricers (but they had a compressor) so it took even longer. We got the fronts done and then we started on the back and broke the rear lca bolt so we stopped and i went home. The next day i worked with my other friends to drill the bolt out and my friend got me a bolt from his bud's shop. Then we finished that one side real late so i went home and the next day i finished the left back with yet another friend. Finally i was done. Took some test drives and done.

Springs weren't too much of a hassle when I put them on my brother's EK.

How do those GR2's feel?

 

Borbet Type something or other.. (came with the car when i got it second hand) I was thinking about power coatin em black.


A lot stiffer then stock. I would suggest them if you are poor and want the most performance.. Mine were 222$.

 

 

Wow how did you do that? I used an impact gun on most of my **** when I did my suspension. Sorry you had so much problems with your install. Oh yeah, how do you like the handling?

damn! my friend broke his LCA bolt too.but on a EK.and it got stuck in there it was a pain in the ***!

 

Nice car. Try Installing coilovers w/o a compressor...been there.

The handling was better but still i have so much frickin body roll. I'll have to upgrade to having some sway bars. Ya know cause cx's don't have any .

I still gotta decide what LCA's and stuff i am going to get, I was looking at the skunk2 21 mm and have been talking to my friend about sway bars and he's telling me i am going to get into trouble with a huge rear sway.

wasup man, i hate it when people do this but i have a front setup off of my ek if you are interested. 22mm front ex sway bar with lca's. Anyways, nice setup. About the rear sway, it is true, your car can get a little too much if you aren't ready for it, but it is whether you want that *** to swing around or not, Most run the itr rear (22mm) so it can't be too much otherwise it wouldn't be so popular. My suggestion is to ride in another hatch with a 22-21mm rear and see how it feels first before investing in it cause i have seen a few people regretting going so big, later.

 

I really don't mind, hell i need it. Not sure if i have enough money though.

So who wants to let me ride in their 22mm rear sway bar equipped hatch?
