I bought the car during the summer and it had P1457 when I purchased the car. I have looked up the code and it seems like the evap canister could be the issue so I replaced that with a part from Advanced Auto. Well the CEL came back after 2 days. The car also has an issue starting the first time after filling the tank. I fill very slow and I do not overflow (though the old owner might have). The car takes a few turns to come on and then starts normally after that.

I am going to be making a cheap smoke tester so I can see if there are any leaks in the evap system. I am also buying a new gas cap to see if that helps. When removing the gas cap there is pressure release from the tank. I thought gas tanks are suppose to be pressurized. Possibly the car has a gas tank leak.
